Before submitting a document to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for legalization, please make sure that it is legalized by the following bodies:
Legalization Office of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
A photocopy of this document must be provided to the Embassy.
The fees for legalization are 33 GBP per document.
Payment should be made at Barclays Bank on the basis of credit slip issued by the Consular Section of the Embassy or by providing of postal order payable to “The Embassy of Uzbekistan”.

In connection with the entry into force of the Hague Convention abolishing the requirement of legalization for foreign public documents of October 5, 1961, for the Republic of Uzbekistan, from April 15, 2012 certification of documents legalized (apostilled) by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London is not required.
The procedure of legalization of documents issued in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Greece, remains the same.
