The Embassy of Uzbekistan expresses its sincere gratitude to all organisations, companies, Uzbek, British and other nationals in the United Kingdom for their compassion and solidarity with the innocent Uzbek civilian people suffered from the recent tragic events in southern Kyrgyzstan.

We also highly appreciate the kind practical assistance rendered by them in the forms of humanitarian aid and financial donations which were directed to Tashkent to support the urgent efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan aimed at ensuring appropriate living conditions for the refugees from Kyrgyzstan who were temporarily located in our country.

The Embassy would welcome further contacts with all those, who showed their sympathy and support, and we believe there will be a number of happy occasions for that in future.
