The Chairman of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) Joran Lennmarker paid a visit to Uzbekistan. The visit of Y. Lennmarker, a member of Sweden parliament, chairman of its committee on international affairs, is a part of official trip of OSCE PA to Uzbekistan for the purpose of expanding the parliamentary cooperation in the OSCE. The OSCE PA delegation included Doctor Kimmo Kilunen, a member of OSCE PA and Finn parliament, OSCE PA Secretary-General Vitaliy Yevseev.
During the visit J. Lennmarker met the authorities of Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Erkin Khalilov and he participated in a meeting with the heads of regional OSCE missions in Tashkent.
