A Czech delegation headed by Jaroslav Bashta, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic, held talks in the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 4, 2007.
During the meeting its participants noted that the Uzbek-Czech relations in political, commercial and economic and humanitarian spheres are developing step-by-step on the basis of mutual interest and agreements signed within the visits of Uzbek and Czech presidents.

Documents on expanding the mutual cooperation were signed in these summits and the sides agreed to establish regular consultancy between their agencies of foreign policy.
Within the negotiations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan the representatives of both sides shared their views on the present and perspective state of Uzbek-Czech relations and other problems of regional and international importance.
The Czech delegation had also talks in the Senate of Oliy Majlis, Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade and Uzbek Chamber of Commerce.
